AI and Jobs
With the advancement of artificial intelligence, there are those who may fear that the AI could potentially take their jobs. This is true, as trends shown, there are going to be jobs where people are going to be replaced by AIs. However, this does not mean there would not be any jobs for anyone. There would be jobs unaffected by AI and even jobs created by using AI.

Jobs taken over by artificial intelligence are logic-based generally do not require social skills or emotional intelligence. A study by Oxford University shown that around 700 occupations can potentially by AI. Telemarketers are at the top of the list to be replaced by automated systems. Followed by Bookkeepers as programs are created to organize documents and records for the person using it. Receptionists and office clerks have 96 percent chance of being replaced by AIs. Couriers and delivery people are already being replaced by drones and robots. Proofreading used to done by people but most likely you are already using software that is doing the job for you. In you are in marketing, chances are you going to have an AI presence in your field. Market Research Analysts have a 62% chance of being replaced with the AI performing analysis on the trends in the market on its own. Interestingly, Retails salespersons are very much endangered with a 92% chance. This is mostly due to self-checkouts and the Internet research done by consumers though.

Jobs unaffected by the advancement of AI are generally more geared towards creativity and engagement. Human resource managers have a 0.55% of AI replacement with the need for non-cognitive and interpersonal skills that an AI cannot provide. Interestingly, lawyers are not in any danger from losing their jobs with less than 5% of being replaced. Marketing managers must interpret data and trends, oversee campaigns and create content. Due to the need for creativity, AI could not replicate this jobs anytime soon. Most importantly, as stated in the article, leadership can not be automated. "Chief executives have to inform broad strategy, represent companies' missions and objectives, and motivate huge teams of people working for them". Writers and artists have a 3.8 percent chance of not being replicated due to the creativity and the originality needed for this career and the fact that some projects have to suit a client's needs.
There are jobs unaffected but what about jobs created by AI advancement? Robots, like other technology, require maintenance and there have to be a human support on site to fix them. Jobs generally created by the usage of AI are in the IT field. In this article, a study shows that creation of jobs would extend past the STEM field and into six industries such as automotive, electronics, renewable systems and food and beverage.
